I am not sure, but i was told 24, if you have never had an abortion or a miscarriage before you should be fine, but it can still happen, just take care of yourself and your baby. Enjoy the little one.
You are never out of the clear. You can have a miscarriage up to 40 weeks. The very high risk stage is before 12 weeks. And every week that passes your risk decreases. But there is always a risk.
How can past abortions affect your pregnancy by having miscarriages ?
Scar tissue, i was told never had one in my life, but i was told if a person has had one or a number of them the egg may not implant proper. I dont know if its true or not. I would ask a doctor. But dont freak yourself out. Trust me. Freaking out is the worst.
It was just a question and I hope my pregnancy goes ok and I think past a certain point it wouldn't be called a miscarriage anymore some babies actually do survive being premature and it would actually be called a stillbirth if you loose the baby it wouldn't no longer be called a miscarriage
I guess I just answered my own question
Im not freaking out lol never had a miscarriage or abortion it was just a question
I know, i was just saying. I was a premie and im here. My siblings too :) enjoy you're pregnancy, you will miss it at times, and enjoy your baby, he or she is going to be beautiful.
After 20 weeks (or thereabouts, some practitioners use a different standard around 23-24 weeks) fetal demise is referred to as a stillbirth instead of a miscarriage. Having a miscarriage may make another miscarriage in the future more likely, just because a woman who has complications in early pregnancy may have ongoing issues, but except in the case of a botched D&C (incredibly rare) there is nothing linking elective termination to future infertility issues.
Anything under 22 weeks is considered a miscarriage and anything above is a stillbirth. Nothing prevents either things just happen.
Ok it was just a question
