random swelling and wont go away!

I'm 38 weeks today and for the last 3 days my ankles and feet have been so swollen its hard to wear my shoes. I haven't had ANY swelling the entire pregnancy so this is a first for me. Is it just because I'm so close to the end or is this something to be concerned about? I'm still working 45+ hours a week and on my feet a lot...

Cut down your salt intake as well. That makes you retain more water.

With work its hard because I'm a manager... always needed for something. I try and take short breaks when I can but its hard because I have to constantly help the associates and the customers and answer to complaints etc... I'm just hoping the doctors will tell me tomorrow its time to stop working lol I doubt it will happen but wishful thinking

Yea my socks feel like I have tight strings wrapped around my ankles! It just concerned me because I haven't had this problem until a few days ago... anything I can do to help with it? Putting my feet up doesn't help and I'm still working and it requires me to be walking and moving all day.

Usually that's water retention.
My mom had that wicked bad for the last four or five weeks with my little brother.

Her feel and ankles retained so much water and swelled so badly she couldn't really wear socks or shoes!

Hopefully this is all your problem is :)
