My dr told me that postpartum bleeding can be on again off again for up to six weeks.

I agree with yourstruly too, bleeding that starts back up just 2 days later can be from overdoing it, I always have to gauge my vaginal bleeding on if I'm doing too much, I wouldn't think it's your period yet, usually it takes a while, especially if breastfeeding.

Its probably not yer period yet...did yu over work yerself yesterday? I noticed if lift a lot or just do toomuch the next day my bbleeding is back but I read yesterday that yu usually have a period at 4-6 weeks pp or later if yer breastfeeding

It sounds like it could be.. are you breastfeeding?? Only reason i ask is because if you are you are supposedly your chances of having your period that quickly are slim.. but really anything is possible. I breastfed my first son and i remember having my period a few weeks after having him.. with my second i did also but didn't have a period until 8-9 months later i think my body shut down for a bit. I would just try to keep track of how much is coming out and just wait and see.. you've just been through a lot so your body might just be trying to get back in its rythym..
