really bad cold/cough. medicines!?

My doctor gave me a list of medicines I am allowed to take if needed while pregnant. I have a really bad cold and cough. I've been trying to get rid of it naturally by drinking tea and eating cough drops but it's been bad for the last week and now my throat is more sore than it was before. It said on the list I'm allowed to take liquid robitussin but I'm really nervous about taking it.. Has anyone else been told that robitussin is fine? Or have taken it while pregnant? Please let me know cause I just can't shake this cold

I'm sick also and I did alot of research and it says Robitussin is fine and my doctor has also said it is fine to take. But when you do go to get medicine talk to the pharmacist and see what they say. Hopefully you get some relief.
