registration

When are you guys registering at the hospital and taking a tour. I am 25 weeks wih my second but didnt register at the hospital with my first. Luckily my water broke and I couldnt even feel my contractions and they were irregular so I could fill out the paper work no problem. This time I want to register before hand and tour just because I am curious sice I am in a completely different area. So when are/did you guys do it?

I don't see why they wouldn't let your daughter go. All i know is that during flu season children aren't allowed in the maternity ward.

One of the midwives for my hospital gave me a call and had me preregister over the phone so im good to go for now and today is my due date with no visible sign of baby wanting out today :(

I think the same. Plus we have an 18 month old and she wont even be 2 when I deliver. My family thats supposed to watch her is all at least 2 and a half hours away so either L&D will allow her to be in there or looks like id be laborig at home longer. And my water broke with my first and I never had braxton hicks or contractions except an hour beforehand. So they recommend you go right in.

It ***** bein that far in my opinion because so much can happen in 40 minutes. My last one was a half hour away. I see the people that say theirs is 5 minutes away and I get a little jealous lol

I called an hour before i went and they told me i could come in. You might be able to register when you go also just to get it out of the way.

More than likely you'll have to make an apt. Call l&d department and ask them when they can do a tour with you or if they only have set days for tours.

Did you need to call in and make an appointment? I prefer to do both at the same time since the hospital is like 40 min away with no traffic (got to love living in the middle of no where lol).

I took the tour back in January, I'm due in May. I already have the forms to register but I'll probably mail them in a couple weeks
