resemblance between different sex siblings/stronger genes

Just wondering to all those moms of atleast 2, do you se resemblences between your kids?? Weird question but even with a 3d scan I'm trying to imagine if my daughteR will look like my son lol.... do you find boys resemble their dads more?? Did the strong genes in the first child also remain strongest in your second? :)

Aww I would love my daughter to have blue or green eyes.... my husband and I as well vas our son have brown... but my mother has blue my father hazel, my husband is hispanic but there are green eyes on his dads side too

my first daughter looks exactly like me! I get strangers comin up to me all the time sayin how much we look alike..lol and my second daughter looks just like daddy so far..she only has my nose. My husband and I both have brown hair and brown eyes but our 2nd came out w blonde hair blue eyes but still has everything else about daddy..pretty strange! We are havin our first boy so I'm anxious to c what he is goin to look like:))

I have a 2 year old girl who looks exactly like her dad and a 4 year old girl who is the photo copy of me. We'll see who our third daughter looks like in a few weeks.

Wow! Thanks everyone... :) I had the 3d scan, in a few shots she looks EXACTLY like my son its wild. In others she looks completely different lol. The scan tech said she looks like my son, who looks exactl like his father lol.

This baby is my first and I'm really curious what she looks like as both her dad and I have very strong features, and the baby will be biracial (Black/Hispanic) so it should be interesting to see her.

I have two brothers though, and not one of the 3 of us really look like either my mom or my dad. My older brother didn't look like either of them, we only found out when he was a teenager that he was the spitting image of my paternal grandfather at that age...it was almost eerie, the resemblance. I'm the middle child, about a year and a half younger than my big brother, but I look nothing like him. I look like a strong mix of both parents, I have features of both but don't really look like either one of them. My baby brother (10 years younger) looks like the male version of me...genetics are fascinating in how random they are.

My three girls look similar but as their mother I can tell big differences!! My oldest has my shape, but shares her personality with both of us, my second came out looking so much like her daddy I had to double check she really was a girl!! She also has her daddys personality more too!! Our third has her own unique look!! She resembles me more but not much!! People comment on them looking alike, but I think its mostly bc I dress them alike when we go out n about!! Plus they all three have my blue eyes..can't  wait to see what our little man is gonna look like!!

my kids looked really similar at birth but my son is very like his dad and everyone says my daughter is very like me (I cant see it, she has beautiful curls and I cant even get a kink in my hair from a perm!) My son is very fair and my daughter is darker, they dont look that alike now they are 7 and 5 but folk could probably tell that they are related. They have very different builds too, my son is tall and muscular and although my daughter is tall she's really skinny! (I'm only little so that came from their dad!) Their personalities are opposite too, my son cant stand to be alone or have nothing to do, but my daughter will happily play alone and has always been a quiet content child. I'm having another boy and am a little worried that he will be like his half-brother as he is very active, I'm not sure I can cope with 2 kids so demanding, but this one has a different dad who has a different personality so fingers crossed this one doesnt give me as hard a time as his brother has for the last 7yrs!
