rude phone call:(!

So im almost 14wks amd i stilk havent gotten a called from my OB. I was tokd when i took my blood and urine test she would contact me in a few weeks. And i went when i was almost 8wks..so i was waiting patiently for her to call me and i havent heard from the clinic nor from my OB and i just want to know if my baby is healthy or if theres a probkem to try to fix it early in the pregnancy.i feel like shes going to call me when im going to labor...
so i called this morning and the front desk answered and i told them why i was calling amd she asked my name and ect. And i said i was just making sure she didnt forget to call me amd she answered back well arent you a new patient? And i said yes ma'am and she said well you know your Dr. Has many new patients your not the only one she will give you a call when she gets to your name.... and i was like wtf?? But i said okay thank you ma'am i was just wondering
and she hang up on me!
What happen with ppls manners these days:/!

Wow that was really rude, with my first pregnancy I also got recommended with this Dr. and the ladies were very rude and they were always making comments and laughing at some clients. Anyhow, with this pregnancy I told my husband I wasn't going to go through that again and I found this amazing Dr. with very nice staff, hope you find another Dr. hun.

They should've made you an appt before you left from your first appt. I would find another doctor/midwife asap! That's ridiculous!

Yes! When i wemt to take those two test to confirm i was pg they were so nice and everything but just that one phone call i made. They had to be ugly it wasnt like i was calling everyday every second of their shifts it was just one call to make sure they still had me on their system..

You have to think it like this. What would happen if you have an emergency? Would your "doctor have to many patients and will call you when he gets to your name?" Nope, no thank you.

Yes because my friend is pregnant too and shes gone to the dr idk how many times and she only a week ahead of me amd had an ultrasound the second week she went....and its the same clinic except different location amd different OB. But i went to that clinic because my cousin told me they had two good drs there. And shes been there twice and they werent rude and they called her after the miscariage stage. But im already tired of waiting since i know my friends been getting check i also want to know if my babys doing okay... and my insurance did go through so idk why they taking forever im have to look into the other clinic.

I love my doctor she's suppose to be the best ob gyn in my city but I can't stand the reception girls! In person they are all nice and stuff but if you call they are so rude, mean, and careless. Very unprofessional they made me miss my nt ultrasound because they never faxed the referral form and I couldn't make appointment without it. The other clinic and I called everyday multiple times for them to fax them and they'll be "yeah we'll send it right now." And they never did! At the end they would answer them pass me to a machine to leave a message. I was undecided for the nt testing i probably wasn't going to do it anyways but the way I was treated pissed me up. My husband and I decided to change doctors even though we liked our doctor and felt comfortable with her it was not worth dealing with her staff. If they are treating you like that as a new patient its only going to get worse you should find a new place where they treat you right.

I personally would change doctors. ..
