If there is a sac and no fetus that's a blighted ovum. That was what happened with my first miscarriage. I found out at 11 weeks and miscarried naturally after that. Since then I've had 3 miscarriages and have done all three of the options you mentioned. The d&c is over quickly and painless. I had no choice but to do it naturally the first time but o was given pain meds. I don't recommend the pill. When I did that it still didn't completely get everything out. I don't mean to scare you. My situation is not the norm. Most women will have perfectly healthy pregnancies after a miscarriage. I am 28 weeks now with a health baby boy. I just wanted to share my experience with the options you mentioned.
I had the hospital tell me my baby had no heartbeat at 6weeks and that I will m/c so I waited til mon went to my doc they did blood test they came back high they did u/s it was a slight heartbeat did anouther 2weeks later my baby heartbeat was 169 I'm 16weeks noe god has the last say so
Make sure go for 2nd opinion and please do trust your heart.. don't rush some times it too early to tell... and who knows your date its missed calculation. good luck hun... hugs...
Thanks and that's what i've decided.
At 10 weeks you should definately see a heartbeat. I saw a heartbeat at around 6 weeks with my first pregnancy and lost it at almost 10 weeks. I had no bleeding or signs that anything had went wrong (missed miscarriage) went in at my 12 week scan to find no heartbeat. As long as you are pregnant viable or not, you will still experience symptoms. I'd get a second opinion before making a decision on what to do.
