safe or unsafe?
So I'm 9 weeks and 4 days and found out I have bv. Midwife recommended flagyl. I know I should trust my midwife but are there any mommas out there who've experienced this before. I'm scared cuz I looked up online and saw that I should avoid this during the first trimester. There's some effects and blaaaaah. Anyone????
I also have bv but my dr said I should wait to treat it till im 10weeks or more because its been known to cause miscarriage butbidk if that is true so im waiting
I take metronidazole if that's flagyl and I have bv my doctor told me it's okay to take it while pregnant
Flagyl is usually the recommended course of treatment. Be careful when looking things up online because not all sources are reliable.
I had bv with my first pregnancy and I. Believe thats what I took and everything was fine maybe call around to a nurse hotline or pharmacy and get a second opinion
