Does mucus plug HAVE to be bloody?
I am just curious if the mucus plug has to have blood in it or be bloody looking? Two days ago I felt a gush of discharge come out and so I went as fast as I could to the bathroom and sat down but when I got up and looking in the toilet, a huge snot-looking piece of discharge (about the size of a 50 cent piece) was in the toilet. It was white, no blood or anything. Yesterday I noticed some brown discharge, thinking that it was just from doc checking my cervix but today I am still noticing brown discharge. Was that the mucus plug?
Maybe mucus plug, or your water? Not for sure. I would call you OB and let them know so at least they are aware of what is going on incase something else happens. And bump means their bumping the question up for you for other wemon to see and try to help, lol.
Its so your question moves up to the top of the forum questions. And no it doesn't always have blood in it but I would call your doctor and fill him/her in just in case they would want to check you or something and give you further instructions on what to look for or what to do.
