scared to death...

I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago with my first baby and we couldn't be happier. When i went to my doctors office and got a blood test done for the first time the day I found out they said based on my hormone levels I was approximately 5 and a half to 6 weeks. That would put me at 7 weeks 3 days today. I went to the emergency room two nights ago because I was bleeding a little bit of light pink blood and i wanted to make sure all was okay with the baby. They did a pelvic took blood and a ultrasound. Pelvic exam showed everything was fine as well as my blood levels now at 15000. The problem is that my ultrasound couldn't find my baby or hear a heartbeat. The ultrasound tech said there was no baby to see and I'm under four weeks pregnant which I know can't be...any ideas or advice to calm me down? They said I could be at the beginning of a miscarriage but I haven't bled since two nights ago and i don't have any pain..help!

Oh honey I've been there I would get in touch with your doctors and a midwife and explain what has happened either way they should help you to find out good luck

Don't worry have them do hcg levels in a couple days if they go up its not a miscarriage just in tue meantime don't stress it isn't good for the baby...as far as the bleeding thing don't worry it is normal to have some bleeding as long as it isn't bright red u r most likely fine...I've had three miscarriages so i know how u feel right now i went through the same waiting thing with my first miscarriage but this doesn't sound anything like what happened with mine so try to b strong right now nd rest as much as possible and go back in in a few days to get ur hcg levels checked again if u haven't started bleeding i hope things work out for u keep us posted
