I'm over due with my son ... This Bish of a doctor don't wont to induce me ... She checked my cervix told me last week I dilated 2 then today I haven't dilated none I'm CONFUSED .. I got to wait a WHOLE DAMNN WEEK TO GO BACK !!
Your due date isn't the cut off date for birth. It is better for labor to start naturally. The length of pregnancy for ftm's is 41 + weeks. Due dates are just estimates. Your baby will come when it is ready.
Ugh, that happened to me too. My baby was 10 days late. I couldn't believe they weren't inducing me when I hit my due date! I was SO uncomfortable. They said that it was because inducing on first pregnancies has a higher rate of ending in C section so that ultimately, if I wanted to have the baby naturally, I had to wait for my cervix to dilate more.
Didn't make it any easier.
