BUMMED THE TECH COULDN'T DETERMINE THE SEX

My baby kept its Legs crossed the ENTIRE appointment. I'm 19+1 and I'm not sure how often I can recieve ultrasounds. Anyone in this boat? How long did you have to wait until your next ultrasound?

Usually the 20 week scan is your last. Id book a 3d scan. They are awsum just google 3d scan and your area and state and you should find someone who does them :)) They are also more accurate.

That *****. They have a place at the mall that does ultra sound 3 D. They have a simple 2 d package that determine the sex of your babe for 45 bucks. Its call Meet your baby. Its pretty cool. Have Starbucks 30 min before you go in. My twins were bouncing off then walls... literally lol. ( boys )

I would think they would of told you when your next u/s appt. would've been? I know mine did at least (but mine was for medical reason and I had my first at 21 weeks, my second at 28+6). Next time, drink plenty of OJ and maybe eat somethin' sweet like a candy bar. I had some OJ and ate some sweet tarts and he was defiantly showing off for us! And like one of the ladies said, Insurance usually only pays for one unless It's a medical reason.

It depends on your insurance and how they cover ultrasounds !! If you have blue cross you should be fine you just have to pay a co-pay but you can schedule your own ultra-sound !

I didn't find out till 26 weeks lol she wouldn't show her self or do anything we wanted her to lol

Ugh im in your boat last week at 18+2 we were told the baby is probably a girl. So today when i went to my doc at 19 w the baby had her legs straight out and CLOSED! Ugh just my luck lol

My daughter did that to and medicaid only paid for one ultra sound so I had to pay for one out of pocket

Some times they won;t give you another appt. :( Insurance won't pay for more u/s's unless they are for medical reasons. So if they could measure baby fine & there are no concerns they won't likely order another just to find out the sex unless you are willing to pay for it.

aww ***** to hear that i actually had my appointment at 21w and some few days when i first found out the sex of my baby boy. and my baby was crossing his legs but he was playing because he would close then open and close and open lol. but i did get to see his wee ha :) i hope your net appointment is near so you can find out :D

My sisters baby did the same thing :( sorry to hear that her Dr office was gonna make her wait 2 months but she called around for free ultrasounds done by students. They do it free cuz its all practice to them.
