seizures

I have seizures every now and then but hardly ever, like i will have one and then have another one months later but my question is "If i do finally become pregnant and if i have a seizure how will it affect the baby?

Yes, i am taking meds to keep it under control and the thing is, i just started having them in 2006 and i have had like 7...but each one i had months apart and i can feel them coming on, usually when im really happy or upset.

That really is a question you need to speak with a doctorabout! I had a friendwith epalepsy and when she becamepregnant she was considered high risk,but she didnt have any seizures when she was pregnant but about 2 Weeks postpartum had a horrible one! I would advise you before you plan on becoming pregnant to speak with your doc! Good Luck

If your seizures are not under control, this can cause complications for your baby (this does not mean that will happen though but it is a possibility).  Are you being treated for this?
