sex during pregnancy

I am 14 weeks pregnant with my twins and up until this point I didn't want my fiance to touch me ..all of a sudden I can't get enough of him lol. sorry TMI. I am worried about the babies all the time though...I never asked my doctor if sex was ok and he never said I shouldn't do it... Do you think its ok...???

I am so nervous to ask the doctor this..haha but thank you ladies for all your advice...I will ask my doctor my next appointment... and I have another ultrasound on January 21st and i get to find out the sex!!! I am thinking little girls!!

I dont see why it would be a huge problem but on the other hand maybe you would want to discuss with your ob that you have this contraction so bad... It may be a cause for you not to have sex! I hope you figure out what is best, but I couldnt imagine not having sex for a little less than 6 months! AHHH

unless your doctor tell you not to it is safe to have sex at any point during the pregnancy (well until your water breaks and I don't know many mom's who would want to have sex after their water breaks) as far as contracting after having an orgasm I don't know exactly at what stage it is considered normal to contract, but I started having contractions with sex when I was 2 to 3 months with all 3 of my pregnancies, it is usually only a problem if your doctor think you may go into premature labor or has reason to worry, good luck and have fun

I have no idea what to tell you..i know its normal to contract anfter having an "O" lol but i would be a bit worried to do it if your starting already!! Maby you should ask your doc...where your pregnant with twins it might be different for you!! Just to be on the safe side anyways!! :) I on the other hand am getting BH already to...ended up in the er the other day..they gave me an ultrasound and i could not believe how much my lil bub has grown sence 10 weeks! It was amazing...Oh and to add the bleed that i had has resolved itself and my baby and uterus looks great!! I was so happy to hear that...of course i still have to take it easy!! Where i am Bh already! Its not normal at 14 weeks aparently(sp) ....lol..i know its normal to feel after 20 weeks but not as early as we are...then again my ultrasound showed that baby measured around 16 weeks...thats a week ahead of me....well four days ahead..so maby were further along who knows...stranger things have happened! Good luck let us know what doc says! If all systems are a go id say get as much as you can now! ( your going to get big quick) and it may not be so comfortable closer to the end!! lol ;)

I wanted to add.. I have to hold back from having any orgasms.. sorry again if TMI but when I do my stomach gets balled up like a contraction and stays that way for 5 mintues. I rememer this happening with my other children around 7 months... I hate the feeling and it is very uncomfortable.
