sex & labor!!!
Im 32 weeks. Two days ago my boyfriend and i had sex, and that day afterwards i had a dime size piece of mucus that came out. Ever since then I've been losing pieces and having contractions like crazy. Is labor near?
Thank you..I've been having real contractions but they're 38 minutes apart. Then they stop after a while.
I got this after sex also mucas with a little blood as well and contractions every 5 mins. I ended up going in to be seen but I wasn't dilating so got sent home. If your contractions are regular I would get checked to be safe they gave me the steroid jabs just in case it was the start of things x
There is a hormone in sperm that can induce/help get labor going. You should keep track of your contractions. If they stay at a regular pace and get stronger you should most likely be seen just to make sure. I went into preterm with one of my kids and I was told to lay on my left side and monitor the contractions for an hour and if they got better or went away probably just Braxton hicks. Good luck!!!
