I sat on the edge with only my legs in the water for about 10 minutes as opposed to getting all the way in and nothing bad happened, thank goodness. Definitely not something I will do after reading @brittbritt's comment.
omg that is so sad.. how can someone do such thing... :( that made me cry...
A friend told.me a horror story about a woman who was 6 months pregnant and was dumped by her boyfriend she was devestated and no longer wanted baby so she sat in a hot tub long enough to end baby's life and kick started preterm labor. I can't say this is true but I've been told to avoid jacuzzis so there has to be some truth to it. Always be careful and best of luck to you in your pregnancy!
Don't do it. My mum went in a steam room/hot tub when she was 24 weeks and ended up having a miscarriage due to the heat being too much for the baby. (This was before it was advised against)
I asked the sane question just being curious (i dont like hot tubs) and they answered to me with "hard boiled egg"...
My OB said its ok for me to sit in a hot tub no hotter than 94 degrees all night long if I want. Ask your doctor! My normal body temp is 97.9 instead of 98.6 so make sure to consult with your personal doc first! :))
i was told no jacuzzi , sometimes i come at nigh while my feet hurts and just soke them in for a lil bit but i dont go inside !
I did read under 100 degrees it is safe but I am not sure about that.
It is not good to raise your core temperture as it can cause birth defects and fetal death. I am sure if you were only in there for a short period of time you don't have to worry but now that you know you should deffinatly avoid them.
You just cant raise you internal temperature. I thonk the rule is no more then 10 mins in sure everythings fine
