I had a vaginal birth and got stitches. My stitches dissolved in 5 weeks and that next week we tried. It was a little painful at fist, but after that first time it didn't really hurt anymore. Lube and going slow helped us alot. We were back at it after 6 weeks.

Vaginal birth with a lot of stiches for me. Didn't try until 8 weeks and it was too painful. Sex hurt off and on for the first 6 months but I think that's rare.

I had my baby naturally no stitches or anything and we tried 4 wks after and it was a little painful but bearable. So after that we waited another 2wks.
