im 37 weeks + 4 days pregnant
and now and agaiin ii keep getting a sharp shootiing pain in my vagiina that lasts a few seconds

I had those pains the last couple months of my pregnancy since my daughter was resting so low. Its just the baby putting pressure on your cervix and the nerves around it. Everytime baby moves its head it is grinding on your cervix. Not comfortable but normal and it helps you start to efface and dilate!
I got those with my pregnancy also...may be ligament pains. It may just be your body preparing for the birth. I wouldn't be worried at all, however if you are, call your doctor...I'm sure he/she can sooth your fears over the phone.

i wouldn't worry about it hun; aches and pains during pregnancy are normal, especially this late in the game.
you could be experiencing a little pain from effacement and dialation of your cervix; has your OB checked you yet?
