im doing better...hopefully he will come soon..still having the cramps but not close enough together yet
Hi,
How are you feeling this morning??
Kazwel
I would wait and see if they get down to 8 or 9 min apart then call. And see how long it takes them to get to 8 min, if it takes 2 hours then your probably safe until they are a good 5 min apart depending how far you are from the hospital.
Try a bath, if it doesnt work, try sitting or laying down, if they don't go away no matter what you do, then I would call.
They also say that gas, and needing to have a BM or pee can cause cramps, and BH contractions. So try to empty yourself too and see if that does anything.
Try relaxing.. If they are braxton hicks they will go away.. If you need to figure out whether they are actual contractions or not you should do the opposite of what you were doing when they started.. EX if you were walking, sit down.. If you were sleeping, get up and do something.. If they go away they were BHs, if they dont, they are real contractions. Try sitting down and watching some TV and drinking a BIG glass of ice water.. If they start going away they are BHs if not, get ready! because this is probably early labor.
and i try doing things around the house but it makes it worse
just the past half hour the have been 10 minutes apart
I would wait.. I was having mentrual cramps 3 minutes apart for 30 minutes the other night and then it went away.. came back 5 hours later more intense.. 3 minutes apart for 40 minutes and went away.. As long as you aren't having a liquidy discharge or you feel like you cant breath or walk when you get the cramps it probably isn't labor.. could be the VERY beginning but if you were to go in now they would probably just send you home.. Do some stuff around the house, pack your hospital bag if you haven't, get stuff ready.. and just wait.. If you are going to go into labor the contractions will get closer together and more intense. Eat now if you think you may go into labor tonight because they wont feed you once you get to the hospital other than "clear liquids" until after the baby is born.. good luck
