eating alot of food while pregnant can increase my unborn baby weight?

hey.. am currently 7 months pregnant and i dont really eat much and my unborn baby weighs a lil under weight.. i want to know if eating alot would make my fetus gain more weight! please respond! thanks

I dont eat much at all! Im diabetic and my sugar stays high! My insurance got cut off for 3 months! I had to only take my meds when i really had to! My doctor said she was really proud of me cause if i did eat a lot and not have my meds my baby would be really big! She said when i was 38weeks measuring early 40weeks. But high blood sugar causes big babies! Im 39weeks today! I go tues to get a u/s! My doc said if the baby is around 10 pounds like she is measuring there going to induce!

If your diet is severely restricted,  yes, it's likely your baby will be small.    

Is your doctor concerned about your baby's size?  Did you tell him/her that you don't eat very much?

Sugar is exactly what causes the baby's weight to increase

I dnt thinks so,I dnt eat much too but my baby was little big for 21weeks fetus and also I had a scan at 34 and again baby measured a little big for average.I wouldn't say I eat much but I dnt watch my sugar intake so maybe that's way baby is big. Do u eat sweet stuff much?
