It could very well get worse. You've only had it a few days and many can last a week or more. If after 1-2 weeks it's not better or gets worse, you should be checked out to make sure it's not an infection or the cold hasn't turned into an infection. When pregnant, your immune system is lower and you're more susceptible to viruses and illness.
I've been taking liquid Tylenol but I feel like i'm just getting worse.
And nothing will get rid of a cold. They (as well as the flu and dozens of other illnesses) just have to run their course. OTC medications help to alleviate the symptoms, but don't get rid of it.
Canker sores can happen to anyone regardless of gender, illness, or pregnancy. Some you can get with infections, but they are not limited only to it. Improper diet can cause them, as can something as simple as biting the inside of your cheek. In almost every case they go away on their own and do not require any special treatment. If it lasts for more than 3-4 weeks however, you should see a doctor to make sure it's nothing else.
I feel the same way, and I have a canker sore too. It's a small one, but it's not on my tongue. I put salt on it twice a day and it helps dry it up. I hope you feel better. Does the Tylenol work to help with your cold? If so, what is the name of it because I have no idea what to take to get rid of my cold.
