So ive been sick for the past week with a fever for the past four days that wint go away. I dont really have an obgyn yet shiuld I just go to the emergency room?

I just went through the samething..go to the er they will see u..they told me i had a viral infection

Hi, sorry you are feeling so sick.  Maybe an interim step before the ER, which is the urgent care.  They have self pay if you are not insured and it is so much cheaper than self pay at the ER.  I would definitely be seen. The flu is pretty rampant right now---  epidemic levels at this point.  Most people get the flu and are just sick but the infections that follow the flu such as pneumonia and such can be dangerous.  Did you have a flu shot this year (recommended for all pregnant mamas and not too late to get if you haven't although you will need to be healthy first to be given it.)  Another option is the Little Clinic.  Look up if you have one near you.  It's around 85 dollars to be seen and diagnosed which is cheap if you have no insurance----  my hospital COPAY is $175 (meaning my husband's company picks up the rest)!  good luck
