Okay all along ive been told by my job I can take up to 12 weeks off for leave  I called the dr office they said they will only sign off 6 weeks so I called hr and they said I can only take 6 weeks then I wanted 8 so how do I make it were I can take 8

You have to get the paperwork from your doctor and then take it to you HR department or fax it

Yeah we have the 12 week fmla how do u get paid by disability

Look up the benefits for your state. You may be protected under The Family Leave Act for 12w but the disability office may only pay you for 6w

You might want to check if its paid or unpaid maybe u can only take 6 weeks off paid but 12 in total ..
