sleeping on her own

So my lil one is 8weeks old an shes sleepn by me in my bed lol. During the day as her sleeping paTtern hs chnged shes waking up less during night an mor during the day, so i  strtd introducn her to her cot and play gym so i cn gt thngs dne arnd the house bt as soon as i put her dwn she cries hw do i gt her to learn to fall asleep on her own in her cot, am i bein cruel to introduce this to her now?

Yes lol, shes growin so fast, mkin noises alrdy, smiling, i now know why i was in so much pain during pregnancy shes such a lil ball of energy lol, shes actually havin a snooze on my chest, im tryn to introduce her to her cot and shes been cryin for awhle now, and i cudnt stand hearin her cry so now she fell asleep on mommys chest but im not given up at some point she must be comfortable in her cot lol, and her cot is in my bedroom for now so im not faraway, i wish i cud slow down time jus a lil bit, lol njyn these moments

No...we started making our daughter fall asleep early like that the doctor told US it wouldn't hurt her at all that it would actually help her vocal cords...but it was heart breaking for me to hear it but had to get things done. About every 5 to 10 mins reassure her u are there and pat her on her back. She will be fine.
