Hey there, I hate to deliver bad news, and I try not to, but, a slow foetal heartbeat is a pretty good indication of viability and 52 is very slow for a baby. However, it's not always definite, but it is a tell tale sign of pregnancy failure. I am afraid you will have to probably have a repeat scan to see what is going on and hope that it's not failing. I wish you all the luck in the world, and I really hope your pregnancy continues, all the best to you and your baby :)

It is a little bit on the lower side but I wouldn't count yourself out of the race yet. My last pregnancy I got an ultrasound at 6w1d we saw the heartbeat and it was like 85 bpm or something close to that and now she is 2 1/2 years old.
