Worried

Hi I'm 5 wks pregnant and type 1 diabetes. My last hba1c was 6.6. My concern is that my sugars have been running high for the last five weeks ave at 14 ish I will get my sugars unda control although is it difficult but um worried av I already poss Dom som damage? Any1 in similar boat? Love som feedback

That's great all the best my baby is perfectly happy healthy and beautiful. The diabetes didn't affect her and I worked really hard to control my sugar levels. I hope. You have a great pregnancy

Thanx every1 for your comments I've since got my sugars under control mmy insulin needs r so much greater than the norm! My med team say not to worry but u can't help but worryx I'm gona get this rite here and nowx Excited mum 2b

Have you been to the doctors yet? My friend has type two so she had to see a specialist. Maybe just give the ob a call and let them know.

My mom had diabetes with me. She said her sugar was a train wreck with me. However,i turned out fine.  I would try my hardest to keep you're blood sugar normal, but to keep it perfect that's almost impossible. my mom had two seizures with me..and the worst thing that happened was that I came out a girl when they thought I was a boy.
