smokers?

Are any of you ladies smokers, or smoked in your past pregnancys? If so what helped you to quit? Im 28w3d and still having issues kickin the habit.

I quit cold turkey with both...if u set ur mind to it u can but what really help me is everytime I wanted one u would imagine blowing smoke in my babies face (that's pretty much what I felt like I was doing) and I kicked the habit with in two days of finding out I was prego.

As soon as I found out I was preg I quit cold turkey. Its hard still but worth it. My first son was a 9 week premie and I'm pretty sure smoking had something to do with it. I did cut back to 3 cigs a day but when I was 31 weeks I was hospital bound and was on bed test so I had to instantly stop. 3 days later my baby boy came into this world :)

Ive cut down alot as well.. maybe 4, no more then 5 a day. But I still want to just cut the habit out completely since I plan on breast feeding as well. This is my first, and just want whats healthy for the baby, and being a smoker isnt exactly healthy :( but thank you for the advice.

I smoked with my daughter and have been smoking with this baby! I have tried just puting them down (didn't work). Tried getting candy and gum (didn't work). So my ob told me to try to cut back and I went to ultra lights. I now smoke not even half a pack a day and ultra lights at that. Hope it helps! Good luck
