I know a woman who smoked like a chimney her whole pregnancy, baby came out crying constantly nd she had no idea why, I told her the baby probably wanted a cigarette. Lol I smoked marijuana til about 14wks, but I knew how I was when I went without it so I didn't want my baby to go through that. Plus it made ne think too much, like full on anxiety attack, Ima ftm nd anxious enough,lol.

I quit as soon as i found out. Every time i wanted one after that i just pictured my baby smoking with me and what mother in their right mind would give a child a cig? That was enough for me.. im planning on breast feeding too so i can't smoke at least for another year after he is born so i figure What's the point of ever starting again?

I quit the moment the pregnancy test said positive. I didnt even get to have my.. omfg i'm pregnant cig! Lol.

But, I know a couple people who smoked their entire pregnancies.. one had a perfectly healthy baby boy, the other had a healthy baby girl.

At 8 Weeks I light up a cig and threw up right away...havent even been able to be around it since. I just got lucky, ***** though because my Hubby smokes and I cant even hug him with out gagging unless he showers first :/

im almost 32 weeks and im still smoking. im not proud of it either, i definitely wish i could of quit. But its hard when you live in a house full of smokers. So i just try to keep it to under 1/2 pack a day and everything seems to be going good for my little one. But i pray for the best! My mom smoked with me and my siblings and so did a lot of other women i know.

I quit when I found out at 5 weeks, I still sometimes want one. It was a lot easier then I thought it would be, sometimes I think about smoking just one but then I feel guilty for even thinking about it, so I don't.

i quit as soon as i found out with was at 10 weeks..although i do have a  occasional one every now nd then i kno shouldn't but it's hard when my partner smokes..

Im 39 weeks and have smoked my whole pregnacy. Not something im proud of by no means but I already stay stressed out enough about financial problems and such I couldnt take it and doctor told me not to quit just cut down because stress from quitting.is bad for baby. But im not saying its ok! I wish I could have quit.

I quit smoking as soon as i found out i was xpecting.. i only light up a cig when im around my ******* x cus he stresses me out so badly dat cig is wat claims me dwn.

I have smoked with all 3 and my boys were both healthy as good be, my sons were 8lbs 14 ounces and 7lbs 7 ounces, I smoked about half a pack a day I tried to cut down but it is hard. I found it easier on me and the baby if I smoked then if I didn't as I get really stressed out with out them. I actually tried to quit and my blood pressure was so bad my doctor told me I could smoke just keep it to less then half a pack.
But I think it is all up to you and what you decide.

my doc said as long as u can control how many. i now only smoke two to three a day . my mom smoked all thru all of her pregnancy's and all 7 of us were born healthy

I smoked when i was pregnant with my son however I cut down to about three a day. My doctor told me that five and under a day was okay...my son was nine lbs with no issues. Im not saying its the best choice, but if you do just make sure you cut down as much as you can!

I quit around 13 weeks. I should've quit sooner, but I'm glad that I was actually able to quit all together.
