I Feel Like My Baby Never Burps !! Ill Burp Her For A Good 20 Minutes & She Wont Burp .. She Falls Asleep & Farts While Im Burping Her , But Wont Burp ! I'll Do About 3 Feedings without Her Burping .. Then The 4th Feeding She Will ! Shes Not Miserable Or Anything Either .. Like She Acts Normal , So I Dont Think Her Stomach Is Bothering Her , But I Just Think Its Weird That She Doesny Burp ! Plus Shes Only 2 Weeks Old .. I Feel Like She Should Be Burping ! I Give Her 2ounces Every 2Hrs .. & I Dont Burp Her Till She Finsihes The Bottle Because If I Try To Burp Her Inbetween She Gets Mad & Trys To Eat Her Fingers , So I Just Stopped Doing That & Just Burp Her When Shes Finished .. Is Something Wrong ? Should I Be Worried ? I Googled It , Said If Her Behavior Doesnt Change I Shouldnt Worry , Which He Behavior Didnt Change .. She Perfect , But Still !! Why The Hell Wont She Burp !

Iwas wondering the same thing my little girl is 3wks old , & she doesnt burp every feeding either iwas worried @first but then Google helped & said babies only burp when they feel the need too & it's probably not every feeding some babies burp more than others & some just dont. & more than likely its because they arent swallowing air which is good. It also said if baby doesnt burp within 5 minutes they wnt burp after that. Hope this helps! Or search more on Google for more information. My baby if she doesnt burp she'll act totally normal which i know for sure not burping doesn't affect her.

She may not be swallowing hardly any air when she feeds which is really good. Some babies just dont need to burp as often as others. I wouldnt worry unless shess extra gassy or fussy after feedings.
