34w1d && mucus plug out

So about a hour ago I noticed that my mucus plug came out, this is my first baby && I'm just 34 weeks ... what exactly does this mean? When I did my research it said since this is my first then I should be going in to labor within a week or so ... true or nahh?

I lost a lil of mines  last week at 30 weeks wen I asked my doctor she said doesn't mean labor is near longs I didn't lose anymore or it wasnt bloody I was fine n not to worry

I have a doctors appointment on the 7th of February so maybe they can give me a time frame or something :)

I lost part of mine at 34 weeks 1 day too :) which was only three days ago lol .

It could be a week or it could be 2/3 weeks just depends on the baby

I lost my mucus plug at 36 wks with my first and he was born on his due date but only because of a c-section. It's just your body preparing for labor but there is really no telling how much until baby is born as all women are different.
