nervous bout being prego...

i am 21 and i am really nervous that i am pregnant... the women in my family are baby booming right now and i cant afford to be pregnant right now.  my depo shot was supposed to be administered on the 15th of this month, and i cant afford to get it right now.  my boyfriend and i were together 4 times between the 16-18 of this month.  i have been stressed this month due to moving and not being able to find a job but this last week has been not sooo stressful.  the past 2 days i have been feeling strange.  nausiated/dizzy, very very tired(but had heart surgery bout 2 years ago and after that i have been abnormally tired but not this tired).  how long does it take to get prego and wat are the symptoms?

anyways i was pregnant once and i didnt eeven kno it was really scary and i didnt even understand what was going on my mom was just so against in the begging always saying that abortion is the right answer blah blah neways i went through the pregnancy until 3 1/2 months almost 4 and ended up mis carring but u kno what i understand that it happened for a reason yea me and my boyfriend are really sad bout it and we wish that it didnt happen but what can me we do about....! well i wish it was all different but now im really scared that i might be pregnant again but i keep getting a positive then a negative test so i dont kno what to do i dont wanna make a big deal bout it then to find out im not but then what if i am what should i do then!!!!! ITS CRAZY WHAT LIFE THROWS AT U

If it was 2 weeks since the last time you had sex, I would say you're not pregnant and should trust the pregnancy test. If you're still feeling unsure, retest in a few more days but more than likely you're not! It would've shown up by now.

However if you've had sex since, you have to wait about 2 weeks to get an accurate test result.

ok i took test 2 today and says negative but its only been two weeks!! is there still a chance that i could be prego?

Stress can do SO much to throw off a woman's body.  It sounds like you've got enough of it!  You can go to Dollar Tree and buy their home pregnancy tests.  They are just as accurate as other brands (from the day of missed period) and they're only $1!  If you test now and it is negative, try again in a few days to a week.  Since you don't know when to expect your period, it may still be too early to test.  Good luck!

if its only been a week then maybe 1more week to 2weeks. if you calm down relax and try to forget about everything you might not need to do one. i'm glad i can try and be some sort of help to you. anything else or any problems mail me.

i really appreciate your advice.  i just moved and am not really close to my family so i am just kinda nervous.  i think that i will take a test.  wen do you suggest i should take it?

i think so i'm not quite sure. not very good with things like that. i didnt know i was having my first child till i was 4 months gone. then i was 2 and half months gone with this pregnancy before i found out. the quicker you do a HPT or see your doc the better. it mite cost you a bit for the doc to say no but either way you'll know. if you dont feel ready its best for you and maybe the baby if you are.

it might just be down to the huge amount of stress you've been under. i would really do a HPT or go see your doc. i know you've said you cant afford to but if you are pregnant it will cost you more in long run. its better to find out now than leave it too late to make or have a choice. please let me know how you go on and what you decide to do.

and another thing is that i dont know when my period is supposed to be cause i havent had a normal period for a long time.  usually if i dont have the shot i bleed kinda often and i have had feelings of getting my period but not a speck of red has showed up yet. sorry  this is so long but im really nervous and cant afford to go to the doctor unless i really really have a reason to go... thank you
