Oh really!? That s.ucks. :( never thought it could be a bad thing... One thing I know though is that milk products and caffeine block/hinder the intake of iron... I always gotta watch what I eat or drink when taking the iron pills. Hope everything works out for you hun, and that your levels go down..lol. :)
Thanks hun, I have googled and this is my second post. Another lady said that it is just as bad as low iron, but never said why. I asked my doctor what it meant and he didn't really say anything besides I need another blood test to see if they had gone down, and didn't give any advice as to how to bring them back down. So feeling a bit helpless at the moment, and I can't find much on it at all. So I guess I will just wait until next week. Might call the pregnancy line tomorrow morning because I am abit worried.
I've never heard of high(good)iron levels being bad...lol. I've only had low iron and had to take iron pills for that, which is pretty nasty and makes me nauseous. You should ask your doc specifically why he's concerned... Because like I said good/higher iron levels are only beneficial... especially after birth. You'll most likely be fit much faster and feel better than if you had low levels of iron. Hope I could help a bit even though I didn't really answer your question. :) all the best to you♡
