I'm 30w1d today and a ftm. I'm so worried about my baby girl coming early. I feel like I hear so many stories about mommies going into labor at 33, 34+ weeks and I am just so not ready for that yet. I feel like hitting 30 weeks just made this so real. How many of you had early babies? What are the chances of me going into labor early? Can premature labor be prevented?
I know the feeling! I am 33 weeks and have had no signs of preterm labor. There isn't really anything that can be done to stop the baby from wanting to come. When they are ready they are ready and they will come when they want. What eases my mind a little bit is that I've had friends have babies at 25 weeks and they lived. My sister in law had her little boy at 36 weeks and he was fully developed. Technology today is do advanced now that if you did go into labor early your baby would be fine! Relax a little mommy!
