spotting in the second trimester

I don't know if I'm just looking for encouragement, or maybe some positive stories about bleeding in the second trimester. I started spotting this morning, just really lightly when I wipe...and am kinda freaked out about this. I had some bleeding very early, week 5-6 of the pregnancy, but I'm 21 weeks 3 days now and I haven't seen blood in months. My OB's assistant says just to keep an eye on it, and call back if it gets heavier. Any of you have second trimester spotting and things turn out okay?

It seems to have tapered off, hoping it stays that way. Think it scares me to death cause it reminds me of that earlier bleeding, when I didn't know if she was gonna make it. And I thought I was done with it...sigh. Anyways, hoping that was it and she behaves herself from here on out. Been telling her all day not to scare mommy like that. :)

I'm not sure if it was during my second or third trimester but I had some bleeding and cramping with my baby girl now 25 months old
I didn't put much attention to it I even kept working and when I got home I just rested I remember It was a little more than spotting I would wipe myself and I would see really red blood
I didn't bleed that much
I didn't even call my dr
Know I'm  think about it
I don't know why I wasn't afraid
I thought it was normal my supervisor was telling to go to the hospital but I wasnt cramping till I got home
Probably this won't help you very much
But the point is that my pregnancy was full term and I had a heathy baby girl
Now 25 months

I hope everything goes well
Best wishes

I have. I had a brownish spotting off and on for two weeks. The doctor didn't seem too worried about it. Just said if it got heavier with or without cramps to go to the ER right away. Then it went away, and I haven't had any since. They said it could be normal, and can br caused by many harmless things. Just keep an eye on it. As long as it's just a little spotting and you're not cramping I wouldn't worry.
