I didn't gain an ounce until 15-16 weeks pregnant. I know people who have only gained three pounds at 30 weeks (and they weren't overweight to begin with). Every body is different, our bodies can't read the pregnancy books so it doesn't know what's normal ;) just do the best you can to eat and eat healthy and your baby will take what it needs.
Don't stress that there's something wrong with the baby, you need to focus on yourself and a healthy weight gain. And don't look solely at your weight, but look at your BMI. Prior to pregnancy, were you at a healthy BMI? If so, it is typically suggested that you gain 3-4 lbs. in the first trimester, and 12-14 lbs. in the second trimester for the average woman. If you were truly underweight according to your BMI, then take a prenatal vitamin that will help keep your baby growing at a good rate throughout the pregnancy.
Healthy ways to pack on pounds is through complex carbs and healthy calorie snacks. Look to whole-grain pasta, whole-wheat bread, beans, nuts, seeds, avocados, cheese, etc. Ice cream may not be a bad idea every once in a while, too! I wish you a healthy pregnancy.
