if my babys already weight 7lbs at 34w4d will they induce me or let me go???

My son was only 6lbs 9oz when he was born and was tiny. My estimate was just off a few ounces.

They induced me because when they checked my pelvic bone they noticed I was tiny and narrow and there was probably no way I was gonna be able to deliver a baby over 6lbs. They did and emergency ultra sound and my son was 6lbs 3oz at the time I was about 39+4 and they induced me that night. I tried natural labor but after more than 55 hours of trying it wasn't happening and tthey rushed me into c-section. They won't induce you so early but if they feel you won't be able to deliver a big baby they may induce you after 37 weeks or just give you a c-section as your doctor to see what he or she thinks.

Crap for some reason I thought you said 37... 34 weeks is absolutely not, your not even considered full term my friend... They will stop your labor unless your 36 weeks but they definately won't induce you

No they won't because it's just an estimate... Everyone I know including myself got wrong estimates... They told me I was going to have a 12 lb baby and he was 8.8 lbs .... Plus my Great Gma had my Gpa who was 12 lbs at birth and back then they didn't have the technology they do today so just cuz your baby hits 7 lbs from what they assume doesn't mean he/ she really iis 7 lbs and it doesn't mean your baby is ready to come anyways especially at 37 weeks your baby still has 3+weeks to develop... They usually induce if its medically necessary and just cuz they think its 7 lbs at the moment isn't a reason to get induced

yeah well when i went for the ultrasound the ladie said shes showing her weighing 7lbs 10oz but she could be off by a lb so she said 7lbs

I had one of my sons at 34 w 1 .... He was 6 lbs 11oz.....  Ur baby cld be close to 7 as well.

They wont induce you at 34w but nor will they stop it if you go into labor on your own

I doubt it that sounds way to big for the weeks you are. Alot of the times sonograms are way off on weight :) the day before I had my son they told me hewould weigh like 9 lbs and he came out weighing 7 lol

it doesbt matter abouut the weight of the baby sweetie,
it all depends on the babies lungs && how mature baby is.
