steroid injection

went to my dr today and she told me I'll most likely be delivering early so she gave me an steroid injection to strengthen the baby lungs. im 33 weeks does this mean shell most likely induce me before 37 weeks?

its not that im having contractions, my baby is just under weight hes 3 pounds nd the dr said he should be 5 pounds so she sent me to a high risk dr until I see her in two weeks and I guess if he haven't gained weight shell induce me.

I wish my doc would do a steroid injection I'm only 25 weeks went to the hospital for severe lower back pain and abdominal pain turns out I was having contractions a minute apart and because I had the same issue with my daughter the gave me nifedipine and watched me for a few hours and sent me home I've still been feeling back pain and abdominal pain just not as bad for the abdominal pain but still I'm super afraid I'm going to have this one early and with my not even being in the third trimester I'm terrified that she won't servive

They should just watch the weight to make sure your little one is still gaining weight. My little girls weight is "behind" by about 2 lbs also, but the aren't talking induction.
I had the steroid injection at 30 weeks, I'm 39 weeks this Thursday :)

yes she sent me to a high risk dr to do an u/s to check the umbilical cord 2mm and a nonstress test nd shell get me a new due date after that.

Well hopefully not, I don't see why she would want to induce you if he's weighing low. I feel liked she should want you to keep him in as long as possible. Did you ask her about the inducing?

I hope not but by the way shes talking she might wanna induce me. hes 3 pounds and she said he should be around 4 1/2 - 5pounds.

I don't think she'll induce you.. I had one too because I went in for contractions and I'm 34 weeks. But I'm sure she'll just let the baby come when he or she is ready
