Have you tried to let down ur milk before breastfeeding.  Bu massaging ur breast till u start leaking this way ur baby doesnt have to suck as hard.

Are you sure its just from your scar....  I was reading about thrush recently and if you get it, your nipples can burn, it can be painful to nurse, they can crack etc.... I dont know for a fact but I know they said sometimes it wont show in your baby right away so it might be worth bringing it to a doctor increase it is something more...

Have you posted on the Breastfeeding forum?  There's so many new posts all the time on this forum that you may not be getting as much info as you could otherwise.  You might try searching for BF posts similar to your experience to see what advice was given to those people.  The breastfeeding forum helped me a lot after my daughter was born and I didn't even need to post a question.  There's a lot of very knowledgable ladies in that section.  You can also try calling your local La Leche League and asking them for advice, it's supposed to be free.  Anyway, I hope you find the help you need soon, I know your pain.  Breastfeeding was painful for me too the first week and then I got an appt with the lactation specialist at my WIC office.  Turned out my daughter wasn't taking in enough of my areola.  Maybe your problem could be similar?
