still waiting..

labor and delivery are full and said they would call me when they have a room open.. my question is does anyone know if this is normal? how long does it ussually take? update since my doctor checked me yesterday, i was dilated to a 1, i have been leaking tons of mucus discharge and as of 20 minutes ago it had some blood in it. am i getting closer to maybe starting labor on my own. i am 41 weeks. the mucus and clear discharge is non stop.

Yay! Keep walking even at labour and delivery it will make things go faster.

I just got off the phone with labor and delivery and they are cleaning out one of the recovery patients rooms and gonna call me very soon! I'm next.

Aww. I'm sorry you're having to wait so long. I definitely know how it feels. My first pregnancy I had my son 10 days late!  I'm hoping this time that doesn't happen again.. The waiting is truly awful. It sounds like your body is getting ready though! I hope you get to meet your little one today! Good luck! :)
