why am i losing weight?

I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant. I havent had much morning sickness. At my first doctor appointment (9 weeks pregnant) I weighed 142. At my second appointment (13 weeks pregnant) I had lost 9 pounds and my doctor wasn't very happy about it. My third appointment is coming up on Monday and even though I have increased my food intake greatly I've still managed to lose 5 more pounds :( I plan on talking to my doctor about it  but does anyone know what could be happening? I lost a baby 1 year ago so for things not to be going smoothly scares me.

I have lost 32 pounds throughout my pregnancy & I am 28 weeks & still losing weight, some women just lose weight

i was the same way and i didn't have morning sickness. My doctor wasnt concerned at all. she said i would gain it eventually. now I'm 30 weeks and have gained 11 pounds total from my lowest weight. some people just don't gain a whole lot. i wouldnt stress

I'm going into my 27wks and I have lost 30lbs doctor doesn't seem to be concerned.....

Sometimes its common to lose weight in your first trimester and your baby won't begin storing fat until your second. So I wouldn't be too concerned until youre past the 20 week point. Try eating peanut butter. it helped me to gain weight.

My appetite has been great actually. The first few weeks of me being pregnant was the only time I was sick. I eat all day that's why I'm so confused and scared about this weight loss.

I lost weight until 14 weeks then kept a steady weight until about 20.. I would definitely be concerned because you didn't have morning sickness, do you have an appetite ? If not, force yourself.
