cervix check

Has anyone checked their on cervix ...what are you feeling for if you have I wanted to try it on my own

OK I'm not doing it myself ...just going to let the nice lady tell me to relax and lay back

You should  not check your own cervix . Doctors refrain until the very end of pregnancy unless indicated to do a cervix check due to the increase of infection.

Yes you can do it yourself. I have because I wasnt feeling right that day and wanted to make sure. Cervix if closed should kinda feel like tiny puckered lips. Google how to do it and br sure you are clean because you dont want to introduce bacteria in there.

I saw someone say it a while back and when I went to my doc she showed me a diagram of a cervix that made me wonder if its possible ....honesty unless a little hand grabs mine I wouldn't know what I was touching

You cant reach first of all, & you need to be flat on your back. And its just better if you dont check yourself m just wait until your doc does it.

I doubt ppl check they if u not a doc or midwife you wouldn't know what to b checking for or know how much u dilated that's creepy to check yourself lol
