is perid possible if pregnant?

hi all

woke up this morning with a very heavy period, i was on depo for 8 years, came of it 6mths ago, we are trying for ababy, no sign of a period untill this morning, im sure this probably is a good thing, just not sure if when u do fall pregnany, you would still get any ype of period, i would really value some advise.thank you all for listenng.

You can bleed during pregnancy and it can come at around the same time as your period would be due but it isn't a real period. Like shawnahass said when you have your period you release an egg.

i had a perieod the first 3 months of both my pgs so i didnt know till i was about 3 1/5 so yes you can

the reason we have periods is because we released an egg and it doesnt get fertilized, bleeding during pregnancy is common, sometimes it can be confused with a period.most of the time tho it is light pink or brown spotting...good luck hope this helps
