I have my sugar test coming up in a week or so, what all do they do at that appointment? Is my baby daddy needed for this one?

I had the glucose test today. Just don't eat or drink anything but water 6-8 hours before. Drink the sugary drink. They listened to my baby's heartbeat but no ultrasound.  They drew 3 vials of blood and sent me off.

No he doesnt need too be and the drink isn't that bad its the size of a mini soda and to me tasted like a diet punch they take blood do a regular check up and send you home

I havent gotten to see my baby since 20 weeks. It all depends on your doctor

Do you get to see baby that day? Itll be my first day in third trimester.

Honestly they will do what they normally do and then take your blood an hour after you drink the drink. And if your like me you hate needles and half the time need someone to distract you. Although I think after being in preterm labor and having my finger pricked im ok now lol but ultimately its up to you if you want baby daddy there or not
