I hope it gets better lol its bout to make me go crazy
I quit with my first. Now she's two n I still crave them one in awhile. But I was extra cranky without them the first few months
Im proud of myself its for me its for my daughter i want her to be healthy and strong lol its hard because im around smokers i just run to my room lol i know im stronger then this
Great job!!! You should let your doctor know that you quit so you have medical support as you go through the withdraws
I quit when I found out I was a 15-20prr day for nearly ten years ... I drank water and sucked mints I didn't chew gum or get patches as bby still gets nicotine then... it was tough. But just thinking of the bby made me do it... guilt more so lol..
if I eat a big meal I'm like dyin for a smoke..
the other day I went to get one till I remembered I'm pregnant. I haven't had one in almost three weeks and I'm proud of myself :)
You should all be proud of yourselves x
I'm 22wks and I quit smoking around my 8th week I still crave smoking. I don't know if it's because my husband still smokes and chews the nicotine gum and I'm getting some of the nicotine threw him so it is not totally leaving my system but every day it's a struggle to not go and buy a pack. Hubby keeps saying that he quit and I keep catching him doing it! :( my grandmother passed away on Thursday and he pulls this crap on me I broke down sobbing this morning cause I want one so bad. Sorry for the book.... but you are doing well its just really hard keep trying :)
Yeah me too thats why i quit i want my baby girl to be healthy i just wish i could get my bf to stop or slow down ughh
just think about the day you deliver the baby and they put the baby in your arms and he or she is nice and healthy ibaby surround yourself with positive people to help you stop smoking and take up a new hobby to get your mind off of smoking... that's what I did good luck and be blessed
Everyone around me tells me I'm doing so good, and most of the time I want to tell them to shut up, lol!! I try and remember all the good things about not smoking and that I want a healthy baby.

Oh im always stressed and a cig use to make me feel so much better and every since i got pregnant im always emotional its hard so i understand
How is the stress though? It's really hard for me, especially at work. I'm an emotional person to begin with but throw in pregnancy and nicotine cravings I sometimes go crazy.
Everyone thinks im going back but if im going to be caring for my daughter i wont have no time to smoke
I often think that I will go back too but I don't know if it's the nicotine cravings or if I really will. My BD hates that I smoke but it helps me cope and deal with the stress of my job.
Lol omg me too as soon as 8pm hits im so tired and then im always eating a salad and a yoguart or cereal every hour or 2
I quit in November and even now at 37weeks I crave a smoke all the time. It gets easier but I know I'll be returning after my daughter is born.
I had bad headaches after I had quit. It's been 8.5 months since my last smoke
I practically fall asleep by 8pm now!! Ever since my 2nd trimester started I'm always ready for bed early. And I eat almost every 2 hours, but I make sure its healthy. A banana, nuts, applesauce, or carrots usually. I have been losing weight though. Down 6lbs since the 13th! My doctor isn't worried though because my boy is growing right where he should be. I'm 23 +1.
Yeah next this tuesday will make it 2weeks seens i quit and im always hungry and tired lol idk if thats the pregnancy or not lol
I quit almost 9 days ago, the first 2 hours after I was angry and crying and just flat out scary. Every now and then I get cravings after I do things that I would normally smoke after but it's gotten easier.
