swab! ftm!

Can someone tell me about the swab test?? 36 weeks and 3 days, I'm just nervous, does the doctor enter your rectum?? Does he enter your vag??? Or is it the swab of the outside??? I'm really not comfy with people.looking at my vag! Can someone help me get over that fear?!

I was allowed to do it myself but they told me to swab just inside the vagina and just inside the rectum. It's a bit uncomfortable but it's basically a qtip so nothing bad.

Well I talk to my midwife and let her know that I was uncomfortable with someone doing that to me so they gave me the swab and showed me how to do it myself. It's not that bad and it's just a swab of the outside of your vig all the way back to your rectum but you don't stick anything in just swab around

Its usually just the out side if the Sean test is for group b strep.
