Ok that makes since because they want an official leave date.what would.be March 18 and I would have my week vacation then 2~3 weeks so I would have to be back no later then 2nd week of April
I looked in my handbook and we use to have fmla but they cut back so we are no longer provided it. And.I'm trying to get a number for.corporate but for.some reason it's.now.no longer available .......... is their a web site I can print this out and show him
After 6 weeks though they can let you go. I got a letter from my work saying so but i went back before the date on the letter.
Yes you get six weeks. I worked for burger king that was also private. Look through your hand book. You can also go above his head like i did and they will tell you.
And just saying but you can't get fired for having a baby.
My boss is stating that home.office said I can have two maybe 3 weeks but she is supposed to email them and try for three or 4 I saved a weeks paid vacation and I have only called out once in over a year and it's like none of this matter
Ok so I can get 6 weeks and have my job?? Because i work at a Hilton hotel but we are privately owned and he keeps fighting everything I say with I'm wrong and he can just tell me he no longer needs me and can just get rid of me
I'm also in Florida. Went through this in Missouri and they are also a right to work state. Your boss needs to learn the law
By law they have to hold your job for 6weeks and with no difference when you go back to work. Went through this twice with my old job.
Yeah I heard about that but in state of Florida it's right to work so Luke you said they don't have to hold my job and in the words of my boss I'll hold your job but I don't have to . You can't believe nothing they say here so on my last two.weeks I'm going to try and find a part time job. But my safety and my baby is most important I'm due in less then 8 weeks and I'm breast feeding and that more important then them bullshiting me
Even if your not entitle to family and medical leave act( FMLA) you should be entitle to maternity leave act( MMLA )...it is by law for a job to allow you at least 6weeks of MMLA whether they want to or not. Now once they give it to you they do not have to keep your job for you. So take your maternity leave but make sure you go to DTA get food stamps and help with housing bcuz you can prove you have no income so do wats best for you and your baby
