private scan yes or no?

I am 17 weeks today and i was wondering if its worth the money to figure out the gender before my anatomy scan at 20 weeks. My birthday is next week and i want to know the gender before then but  is it worth finding out early when im 3 weeks away?

I did it and I believe it was totally worth it! I loved finding out I was having a boy early! It gives you more time to shop and spoil! Lol and it was so exciting for me if I could relive that day over and over I would!!<3

For me money isnt an issue (im blessed i get to say that and pray it stays that way) if i get a private scan i plan on getting the package with 2 visits so id find the gender out now and get to come back later in my pregnancy to see the more mature face.

And about the asking dor baby stuff for your bday, just ask for gender neutral things like diapers and a crib or jumper or swing or bottle sets or pack and plays. Clothes (which are the most gender specific item) can be found anywhere for cheap

Id save the money spending for later on in the pregnancy. My last ultrasound was at 19 weeks and I am almost 27 weeks and I plan on getting a 3d and standard ultrasound (around $100) when im about 30-32 weeks.
The wait to find out the gender killed me but I was so happy when the day finally came. And im waiting till 30-32 weeks so that I can see the more mature facial features of my baby boy and see what he'll look like when he comes out more accurately.

The only thing is i really really want to know before my 18th birthday (ill be 18 weeks) because im asking everyone for baby stuff instead of stuff for me

I would recommend waiting if you're that close to 20 weeks.  I paid for the early gender scan at 13 weeks and it was an amazing experience but if I was 17 weeks is wait

If its going to cost you I say waiting is best y pay money if you don't have to? 3 weeks will be here before you know it. Just wait it out it makes it all more exciting
