For my sons 20 week ultrasound I was told he has a swollen kidney tube and when I got a second ultrasound to re check they told me it's fine, not swollen at all. I wouldn't worry about it, it usually fixes itself before birth

Did they say anything about renal pelvic dialation? It just means that a valve doesn't close properly allowing urine to travel back up to the kidney (kidney reflux) making it more full. Postnatally it just means they can be more prone to uti's. I know it's very common in boys and usually resolves itself. My son has it and has had regular ultrasounds postnatally. With him it hasn't resolved itself however his kidney has continued to grow normally (now 17mths) and he's only had 1 uti so they're inclined to just leave it. They try to avoid intervention for something so minor.
