let this be a warning

If you have back Pain don't ignore it, go to the hospital, i had back pain and ignored it BC i read online that it's normal and common on pregnancy. My husband didn't want to risk it though and drove me to the hospital last night at  9 pm, it turns out i had 3 infections, one including a terrible kidney infection that could hurt baby, they said when you get pregnant you become more suseptable to certain infections. now,keep in,mind it was not kidney pain it was back and hip pain. I now have to go back for 4 days odd anti biotics and then a week, of prescription anti biotics. I was sick for a very long time and it got out of hand BC my only symptom was a little back pain. Don't let little things go with out asking, if i can help yall by letting you know this i will, BC i don't want any one to ever have to go threw this.

It will be on either the left or right side. Mine was severe and caused me to puke and shake and feel all around like death

Was your back pain on the left or right side? Or just in the middle?

Today is my second day of anti biotics, i feel so weak and my back is now killing me,  kayy19 if you are concerned get checked, the least they can do is confirm what they said with a urine sample, they didn't have to draw blood from me, found all 3 from my pee

I was just telling my doctor that I get a real bad intense pain in my back that last 2mins then go away she said it's cause my baby back is up against my back, now I'm wondering could it be a kidney infection.

Kidney infections are awful I got one at 25 weeks with my son. It put me into preterm labor I spent 4 days on constant iv fluids and iv antibiotics. I then had to take macrobid the rest of my pregnancy and was on modified bedrest I made it to 35 weeks.

I'm not saying everyone with back pain had an infection, I'm saying check it out before it's to late, i would rather be checked and have nothing than do what i did and not check it out and have 3 things!!

It all just depends.  Back pain in a common pregnancy symptom.  Your body is growing and changing.  I had back pain my whole pregnancy and i had no infections.

Were you having bad back pain or just on and off every few days? I have very light back pains every other day or so and I'm 23+3.
